The Department of Computer Science is one of the largest departments at the Faculty of Science of Palacky University in Olomouc. It comprises a group of young scientists, professors, associate professors, assistant professors, research and teaching assistants. The faculty pursues teaching, research and development activities in the area of Computer Science and Information Science. Students are accustomed to well equipped laboratories and a large library comprehending up-to-date literature. Students and the faculty constitute an open and lively community and every student is approached individually.
